Below are hypothetical examples I created for some of my favorite Beauty/Skincare and Fashion brands to showcase my skill in graphic and digital design.
I used a combination of clear fonts, clean lines, and white space with pops of bright color and interesting texture to achieve a minimalist look that reflected each brand’s aesthetic but maintained my personal style. Overall the designs are fresh and fun while still being uncluttered and easily digestible.
EXAMPLE SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN: THE MIX-INS
I noticed on Loli’s website that they grouped their products into 3 categories: bases, minis, and mix-ins. Because a unique selling point of this brand is their “mask it yourself” model, I thought a nice social media campaign could be to focus on each component. In the visual asset examples above, I look at the Mix-Ins, highlighting one product for each post. Both visually pleasing and informative, the posts parallel the brand’s black and white logo/assets well and reflect its transparent, practical, and fun approach. A way to enhance the posts would be to add shopping links for each product, as well as add detail in the captions.
