Kids in Danger

I worked with Kids in Danger (KID), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving children's product safety, as their Advocacy and Outreach Intern in the summer of 2015. I designed educational and promotional materials to expand their outreach, especially on social media, which included facebook posts, infographics, event posters, etc.

I was also responsible for planning, producing, and executing a social media campaign for August in order to increase the organization's visibility and awareness. I came up with #FamilyVoicesFriday, which honored children who had been killed by unsafe / recalled products and highlighted the need for parents to be aware and alert on their children's product safety. This included digital assets and campaign branding as well as integrated social media and blog posts.

One post I designed received almost 300 shares and reached 30,000 people, making it one of the most successful posts in KID history.

#FamilyVoicesFriday has continued even into 2017.
